Dolled Up: Christian Dior Spring 2011
40's hair, bold makeup and a killer smile. Sure, some of the eye shades are a bit too bold (not to mention seriously bright) for my taste but I loved every shade of red lipstick used on every model. Now, how does one get silky, coiffed hair as the Dior models backstage? I'd like to know! I love that so much detail goes into the little things for fashion shows, even the hair and makeup and goes perfectly with the collection.

i agree with you that some of the eye make up is a little too bright for every day wear, but it's definitely a good inspiration. i would totally do a softer, toned down version of this look.
