Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig's Spring 2011 collection left me breathless, literally! These fabulous designers showcased their brilliance in balancing glamour and innovation. It also has a vintage inspired feel to it, which I always appreciate. Modernism is one thing but space-like, lady gaga styles these days are only worthy of gagging. So over those, with that said, bring on the glitz and feast your eyes on these bejeweled necklines, dramatic silhouettes, light-as-air draped chiffon, bold colors and daydream yourself into one of these dresses and attend the next Metropolitan Opera or a swanky party in the Upper East Side. Btw, Happy October everyone, cant wait for Halloween!

Mel-O-Toons : The Enchanted Horse

I just love re-discovering old cartoons that I used to watch as a child. These days, I cant help but feel sorry for the kids who are growing up on useless shows like hannah montana or any of the countless, pointless cartoons on TV. Ive become so picky about cartoons when I get time to sit and watch them especially with my nieces and nephews. The old Mickey Mouse, Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry and Mel-O-Toons are among the classics that I still love and believe kids should grow up watching them too! This cartoon below is based on a Persian folk tale and is just beautiful. I was a bit too excited when I watched this after so many years. Vintage Posters

Anyone else sigh over the warm nostalgic feeling when looking at a lovely vintage poster like I do? I thought Id be over it by now, in my twenties and all but I love when I come across a new/old version of a vintage poster. I thought Id share a couple of my classic favorites ranging from musicals to horror with their original posters. I plan on sharing more vintage posters but with fashion or travel in it in the future!
