Tim Burton for Harper's Bazaar

This is part II of my Halloween post, as soon as I got lost into this fashion spread, I snapped myself right back to reality and just had to blog about it!! Sure we all love Tim Burton's brilliant mind that created cult classics like Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare before Christmas, Beetlejuice, etc. In fact, whenever we hear that he is releasing another new movie, doesn't it become an instant classic as well as reign the box office for weeks? Fashion however, is the least discussed topic related to his royal darkness (yet quirkiness) of the art world. Needless to say, his last movie Alice in Wonderland brought inspiration to the fashion world and Harpers Bazaar quickly took note of that and paired a fantasy filled photo shoot for their October issue. Bloody brilliant.

ps- Jeremy, this is for you.  <3

Love the larger than life skeleton!

The genius himself, in a clown costume. Of course.

Boo!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, sadly I wont be getting dressed up this year because I'm still working on my portfolio, can you say procrastination to the max? However, I've seen locals dressed up last night on Hallows Eve, including a gorgeous tall man dressed as captain jack sparrow head to toe at 7/11, I made a face so he "gyarrrred" at me! Haha! Time to eat candy, serve candy to the trick or treaters and watch a horror movie, Hope you all had a great weekend!

How fabulous are these chic pumpkins for your Halloween decor?

Marchesa

Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig's Spring 2011 collection left me breathless, literally! These fabulous designers showcased their brilliance in balancing glamour and innovation. It also has a vintage inspired feel to it, which I always appreciate. Modernism is one thing but space-like, lady gaga styles these days are only worthy of gagging. So over those, with that said, bring on the glitz and feast your eyes on these bejeweled necklines, dramatic silhouettes, light-as-air draped chiffon, bold colors and daydream yourself into one of these dresses and attend the next Metropolitan Opera or a swanky party in the Upper East Side. Btw, Happy October everyone, cant wait for Halloween!

Sighhhh
